The first song we wrote after the Songs in D-struction release (The second was Oh No/Oh Yes). I remeber playing the opening chords, for hours and then suddenly playing the wrong chord and that became the chorus (or whatever it is.) Using the classic PDC-fast two-note arpeggio in the second the round of the first verse. All the synths are played live. Mainly a Sequential Circuits ProOne. The drums are a Roland TR-606 but I had no syncing so I had to record a bar and loop it, and then to make the variations record another one and paste it in, which was good beacuse I also had a very small harddrive så I always had to delete files after merging them and in this case.. The guitar is probably Howlin Pelles Fender Broadcaster -57, through a Boss DS-1 and then a Kawai MX16 line mixer. then straight to the soundcard. The bassguitar is either a Fender Jazz or a Hagström I cant remeber the model of. A blue one... Bass and vocals were recorded using the same line as the guitar. DS-1 FTW!!!
